NALIS was co-sponsor of the Human Resource Management Job Career Fair 2002 (October 24 – 25, 2002) Approximately 850 persons visited the NALIS booth. They were provided handouts and information on:

- Jobs With a Future – Careers in Library and Information Science
- Interviewing Tips
- Resume Tips
- Books on careers available at our libraries
- Qualifications needed to hold positions at NALIS
- Best Sites for Resumes
- NALIS (brochures and website)
In addition to handouts on the above, visitors were given:
- Bookmarks (500)
- Posters (250)
