The National Library and Information System Authority (NALIS) strongly refutes claims of its involvement in and support for the “Sex Cards” allegedly distributed inside and outside the National Library or at any of its Public Libraries. Media reports that the “cards” have the backing of NALIS are totally unfounded.

Libraries are public spaces, and while we can control activities which take place within our libraries, we have no jurisdiction over incidents that occur outside the library.
