In an effort to improve access to library and information services, and support the developmental and recreational needs of the community, the Maloney Public Library, located on Willet Avenue, will be closed for renovations from May 2, 2016 until further notice.

The public can look forward to a new Children’s space, new Young Adult space, designated computer room, study carrels, wireless service, updated furniture, expanded collections and more. 

The National Library and Information System Authority (NALIS) apologises for any inconvenience caused by the closing. Youth Literacy Classes will be held at Maloney Government School. Patrons may also access library services at any other library in the NALIS network. Reference services are available via the Ask NALIS link and e-Books and online research resources can be downloaded via the NALIS website at www.nalis.gov.tt.
