Some of the best English translated German classics, children’s stories and novels have been recently donated to NALIS by the German Speaking Ladies Club of Trinidad and Tobago. The books present an insight into the culture, life, wit and history of Germany. This gift of some 30 books marks the beginning of a long-term relationship with the Club and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and NALIS. Later this year, NALIS will collaborate with the Embassy to host an exhibition at the National Library.
