Joan Richardson, the Secretary, Friends of the Port of Spain Library presented to Patricia Zephyrine, Executive Director, NALIS, a power driven scooter for the adult mobility impaired patrons at the National Library. The scooter is a welcome addition to our facilities for the physically challenged and senior citizens who experience difficulty in moving around the Adult Library. This library on the first floor extends two wings from St Vincent Street to Abercromby Street.

NALIS wishes to express our sincerest thanks to the Friends of the Port of Spain Library and extends an invitation to our corporate citizens to make a similar donation, so that more physically challenged patrons can use the Library.

NALIS will continue to expand its services and fulfill its mission of providing a socially inclusive library and information service to all our citizens.
