How to Reset Your OpenAthens Password
February 5, 2025
A library PIN, or Personal Identification Number, protects your library account by providing an extra layer of security, particularly against unauthorised access to or use of your library card. It verifies that you alone have the authority to access your library account since it is a private number which only the account holder knows.
When you first join the library, you will be required to set your PIN (4-digits) or if you are an existing member and forgot your PIN, you will be asked to reset your PIN (4-digits).
You need your PIN to:
- Log in to your online library account
- Renew items
- Place and manage holds on materials
- View your checked-out materials
Please follow the steps below to either set/reset your PIN:
Please contact the library for assistance at 62-NALIS or support@nalis.gov.tt.
