If a title is not available to borrow immediately in OverDrive, its status will display as “Place a Hold”. This is because the title is either currently checked out by another user or it has not been released to your library. Selecting “Place a Hold” secures your spot in the queue, and you will receive an email notification as soon as the title is available for you.
