Dr. Harold Harnarine presented a copy of his latest publication “A Layman’s Guide to Inflation in Trinidad and Tobago” to NALIS’ Heritage Library recently. The book is lauded as a masterpiece by Rev. Nello Mulchansingh, retired school principal, and is described as “ a combination of erudition and popular appeal”.

As a senior economist at the Central Statistical Office in Trinidad and later as an economist with the Bank of Canada and a senior Economist with Statistics Canada in Ottawa, Dr. Harnarine has had a wealth of varied and practical experience.
