NALIS COLLABORATED WITH TTPOST TO LAUNCH FRUITY FUN STAMP

NALIS collaborated with TTPost to launch their new Fruity Fun Stamp Issue (based on local fruits) on June 08, 2004 at 10:00 a.m., Audio-visual Room, National Library.

TTPost described the stamp as “educational and enlightening, designed to appeal to children and to increase their interest and desire in philately as a hobby.” The Children’s Library is using this stamp launch to revamp its Stamp Collection Club.

In 2001, NALIS collaborated with TTPOST to launch our own 150th Anniversary of libraries in Trinidad and Tobago stamp issue. The stamps in 75 cents and $3.25 denominations featured the Old Heritage Library and the Carnegie Free Library, and the National Library Building respectively.
