TRINI BORN, U.S. BASED CHILDREN’S ILLUSTRATOR AND WRITER TELLS STORY AT NATIONAL LIBRARY

Colin Bootman, Trinidad born and United States based children’s illustrator and writer will present his first local story for children entitled Fish For The Grandlady, at the Children’s Library, National Library on Saturday 23 August, 2003 at 10:30 am. Children six years and over are invited to be a part of this storytelling session.

Bootman left Trinidad when he was seven years old. He studied art at the La Guardia High School for the Arts and the School for the Arts. He has illustrated many acclaimed books for children, including The Music in Derrick’s Heart and In My Momma’s Kitchen.
