NALIS EXTENDS AMNESTY TO JULY 31

The National Library and Information System Authority (NALIS) advises the public that given the extension in the Public Health Regulations, as announced by the Honourable Prime Minister on May 23, its amnesty has been extended to July 31.

This means that books and DVDs borrowed from Public Libraries with a due date during the period, April 30 to July 31, 2021, will accrue no overdue fines and fees.

NALIS looks forward to the resumption of walk-in services, delivered by its Heritage and Public Libraries. In the interim, the Authority’s website and online platforms will continue to offer research resources, e-books, e-magazines, school related content, activities and programmes. Visit www.nalis.gov.tt and Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages to learn more.

Library registration continues via the NALIS website at https://www.nalis.gov.tt/Services/Online-Registration. Persons who register will immediately be able to access NALIS’ e-resources.  For further information or queries, email nalis@nalis.gov.tt or asknalis@nalis.gov.tt.
