Dubbed the Celebrity Tale-A-Thon – Christmas Edition, the event promises to be fun, entertaining and educational for the entire family. Also included in the programme will be captivating “Teaching Time with young Tristan, who will talk about honey bees, and tips for baking Christmas cookies with Wendy Rahamut.
The NALIS Celebrity Tale-A-Thon has grown exponentially over the years. Usually hosted at the Amphitheatre, National Library, this event seeks to foster a love for reading, promote listening, vocabulary and comprehension skills and the oral tradition.
This year’s event is being sponsored by Republic Bank Limited, Optometrists Today, The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited, Kiss Baking Company Limited and Venture Credit Union.
Prizes of vouchers and designer shades, courtesy Optometrists Today, and hampers sponsored by Nestle Trinidad and Tobago Limited can be won.
