NALIS' ENERGY TOWARDS THE PROVISION OF ONLINE SERVICES AND RESOURCES

In an effort to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago has announced a “Stay at Home” measure for persons working in non-essential services as of midnight on Sunday March 29, until April 15, 2020.

In keeping with this measure, while NALIS is important to national development, the decision has been taken to suspend all but the most essential office operations effective midnight, March 29, until April 15, 2020.  Although our offices and libraries will be physically closed, our energies will be channeled towards, inter alia, the provision of online library and information resources to our public which can be accessed via NALIS’ website at www.nalis.gov.tt, as well as corporate and library Facebook pages.

The Authority remains committed to the provision of library and information services to facilitate the cultural, economic, education, political and social development of the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
