Santa, Mrs Claus and elves were on hand to spread joy and good cheer to the children of NALIS’ staff at the organisation’s Seventh Annual Employee’s Children Christmas Party held at the National Library on December 15.
Approximately 100 children between the ages one month and 12 years old, along with their parents, braved the inclement weather to attend the afternoon event. Hosted under the theme, One NALIS and in the spirit of Christmas, the party proved to be fun-filled with eats and drinks, video games, face painting, music and storytelling.
The young and young at heart received party bags and enjoyed the camaraderie, cake, ice cream, pizza, lots of other snacks and door prizes. As expected, the bouncy castle was a huge hit with the younger children and so was the musical chairs among the adults. Entertainment for the party was provided by veteran soca artiste, Leon Coldero.
A cross-divisional team, led by the Human Resources Division, organised this memorable event.
