NALIS’ EMPLOYEES ENJOY A DAY OF FUN

Staff of the National Library and Information System Authority (NALIS) and their families got together for a day of fun at their second annual Sport and Family Day at the Skinner’s Park, San Fernando. The event came at the final day of the NALIS’ celebration of National Library Week.

The overall team winner of the day was South Region (Blue Diamonds). The March Past winner was a combined team of head office, Port of Spain Public Library and Heritage Library. Using the team “Cruzin” the winning team’s marchers were decked in brilliant red sailor outfits, rowing their way into winners row.

Other activities for the day included face painting, 100M male and female, bouncy castle for the children. Team events included musical chairs, tug of war, obstacle race, water woes, sanctuary, balloon crush, and belly hop. The manager’s race was won by the director, public libraries division, Annette Wallace.
