Starting this September, parents can participate in book club sessions with their children. The Diego Martin Public Library has introduced a monthly book club with its first discussion on September 19 from 10 am at the library located on Wendy Fitzwilliam Boulevard, Diego Martin.
The book club targets young readers between the ages of five to 12 and aims to develop verbal expression of ideas. It also encourages parents to read with their children, thus developing relationship from the time spent together.
The Diego Martin library will also conduct a “walk with your device” on September 28 from 9am. This session is targeted towards patrons who wish to learn how they can use their devices to obtain eBooks and other online resources. Patrons can walk with their phones, tablets and laptops for this session.
