NALIS in collaboration with the Nestle will host a series of Saturday morning storytelling sessions at libraries throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
This programme will provide 3 - 7 year olds with an opportunity to see, hear and interact some of Trinidad and Tobago’s best storytellers. The first session was held at the National Library on March 31, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Auntie Queenie’s (Joan Osborne, Director Heritage Library Division) electrifying and engaging performance.
Sessions will take place every last Saturday in each month for the rest of the year. Following is the schedule:
31st March, 2007 - National Library, Port of Spain
28th April, 2007 - Carnegie Free Library, San Fernando
26th May, 2007 - Arima Public Library
30th June, 2007 - Pt. Fortin Public Library
28th July, 2007 - Tunapuna Public Library
25th August, 2007 – Princes Town Public Library
29th September, 2007 - San Juan Public Library
27th October, 2007 - Tobago (venue to be confirmed)
24th November, 2007 - Mayaro Public Library
