The president of Pan Trinbago, Patrick Arnold recently presented two copies of If Yuh Iron Good You Is King to Annette Wallace, executive director of NALIS at the National Library. If Yuh Iron Good You Is King is an historical account of the steelband in Trinidad and Tobago.
Kim Johnson was commissioned in 2001 to research and document the history of the steelband in this anecdotal form. A team of Sydney Gollop, the founder and first president of the National Steelband Association, Oscar Pile also a founder and officer of the National Steelband Association provided information for the publication. Melville Bryan, was the co-ordinator of the project.
