He is reputed to be fearless
in the face of a new challenge, and he is considered a true cultural gem
of South Trinidad. From there he went on to acting and also gained accolades for his talents as a thespian. Among his many performances he recalls parts in Macbeth, Bishop Candlestick, Man Better Man. As a member of the San Fernando
Arts Council, the National Dance Association and a member of the Naparima
Bowl Board, Mohammed also ensured that he made a contribution to the arts
off stage. He was also hailed for his efforts
as a member of the San Fernando Borough Council. A father of three, Mohammed was awarded a Medal of Merit for his contribution to the arts. |
