Rudolph Le Gall was born on the 9th June 1927. He is known as "King Clown" for his portrayal of this character in San Fernando Carnival during the period 1943-1970. Mr. Legall was part of the contingent of masqueraders who went to Barbados in 1950 to launch carnival. In 1991 he captured the San Fernando King title with his portrayal of "Projection of Sunlight". From 1965 to the present Rudolph Le Gall and his wife have been putting out a children's carnival band. From 1973-1984 Mr and Mrs Le Gall also had an adult band.
