Pat Castagne was born on 3 October 1916. He attended St. Mary's College, and eventually became employed in the civil service in the Department of Agriculture. Pat Castagne was well known as a composer. He is credited with composing Trinidad and Tobago's national anthem "Forged From the Love of Liberty". He also composed the world famous "Kiss Me for Christmas". He died on 5 May 2000 of a heart attack. |
