Mr.
Orville London was elected Chief
Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly on January 29, 2001.
Mr.
London was born on November 6, 1945 at Parlatuvier, Tobago. Mr. London obtained a Bachelor or Arts in History
and Sociology (1966) from the University of the West Indies St Augustine.
He also possesses Diplomas in Education and International Relations.
Mr. London has been the Deputy Political Leader of the PNM since 1997.
He held the position of Senator for the period 1995 to December 1996
and Councillor of THA from December 1996 to February 2001.
He has associations with the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board of Control
and the Signal Hill Community Council.
Mr.
London is married and has five children, he lists lawn tennis, cricket and
walking as his hobbies and has special interests in Historical Research and
Journalism.
