The National Library and Information System Authority (NALIS) manages all libraries in the public sector, including public, special and school libraries. The departments listed below are located in the National Library Building. DepartmentsThe Port
of Spain Children's Library is located in the East Wing of the
ground floor, and can be accessed through the entrance on Abercromby
Street. The Port
of Spain Young Adult library is located in the North Wing of
the ground floor, and can be accessed through the entrance on Abercromby
Street. The Port
of Spain Adult library, which is a merger of the Port of Spain
Lending Library and the General Reference Library, is located on
the first floor. The Heritage
library is located on the second floor. The Technical
Services Department is located in the basement. The Information Networks Division, the Educational Services Division and Public Relations and Marketing are located on the third floor.
The Administrative
offices are located on the fourth floor.
