The Bindery is responsible for the repair and preservation of library materials for the twenty-five public libraries within NALIS. Repairs are done using a variety of binding styles depending on the nature of the material being bound. Full binding is used for all West Indian and Reference material, whereas half and quarter style binding are used for repairing fiction and non-fiction material. Small scale printing is also done at the Bindery. Registration cards, readers' tickets, date due slips, and various stock cards and forms are printed and distributed to the branches. Within the organization, there are four binderies located at Port of Spain, Tunapuna, San Fernando and RCLRC Couva, with a staff of eleven binders/printing operators. Staff
