In an effort to bridge cultural divides, create a greater understanding among communities and promote multiculturalism, the National Library and Information System Authority (NALIS) will host each year a celebration of Latin American culture, arts, films, poetry and cuisine. This programme, which is free to the public, is intended to provide an insight into the culture of our Latin American neighbours and to also create a renewed interest in the learning of Spanish as a foreign language.
