What
is the Heritage Library?
The
Heritage Library is a reference resource of valuable Heritage material.
It seeks to collect, organise and disseminate all information about
our nation's diverse ethnic groups and cultures.
It acquires and preserves for posterity, all print and non-print
material relevant to our heritage. This includes also, primary
sources of orally transmitted knowledge.
Comprehensive
information about our collection can be found on our Collection
and Services page.
The
Library is open to all members of the public throughout Trinidad
and Tobago. Users comprise secondary school students, foreign and
local university students, students of other tertiary institutions
and persons conducting private research.
The
Library has compiled several bibliographies, which can be viewed
on our Bibliographies
page.
